“Howlin’ at the Moon”

Sang by Gary. The EP opens with the titular track, a romantic chill-pop odyssey that welcomes listeners in with a gentle melody. Garys feel-good vocals, recorded in the musical haven of Nashville, carry the track with vibrant energy. The jazzy pop elements blend really well, creating an atmosphere that is both engaging and upbeat. The guitar solo adds a layer of craftsmanship, enhancing the overall sonic tapestry.

“Angel in My Room”

Sang by Ugene Night. The journey continues with “Angel in My Room,” love the keyboard pulsing through this tune, a track that takes an unexpected turn, veering into more experimental vibe. The vocals, coupled with unconventional instrumentation, paint a dreamscape that is eventfull. Cris Cap showcases his willingness to craft his songs his way. This departure from the expected adds a layer of unpredictability to the EP’s narrative.

“Show My Love” featuring Tyla Rae

Sang by Tyla Rae. The final act of the EP brings us “Show My Love,” featuring Tyla Are. Here, Cris Cap delves into collaborative terrain, and the chemistry with Tyla is palpable.

The track exudes a confident groove, blending elements of pop and R&B. Tyla Are’s vocals complement Cris Cap’s seamlessly, complimenting the EP’s thematic exploration of love.

While Cris Cap’s EP is a commendable experiment in genre fusion, it is not without its challenges at times throughout the recording. The unconventional choices, though bold, may not resonate universally, but to some it’s ace!

But…In the grand scheme, “Howlin’ At The Moon” stands as a testament to Cris Cap’s obvious musical talent. “Howlin’ At The Moon” emerges as a captivating, if at times perplexing, sonic triptych.
