Slice Bar in Sheffield launches new menu – it also delivers!

This hidden gem provides perfect pizzas and delicious deals – and it now delivers.

Sheffield’s best-hidden pizza place just got better with the launch of a new menu which is now available on Deliveroo and includes artisan pizzas, snacks and quirky dough-covered concoctions. After building up a reputation with locals, Slice Bar has become a hotspot for foodies, bloggers and Instagrammers.

For those out of the loop, Slice Bar can be found tucked away inside Forum Kitchen + Bar, one of Sheffield’s longest standing and most iconic venues. The trendy eatery offers a cool and contemporary setting for food lovers to enjoy a quick lunch or an evening meal with friends. The space is also ideal for holding meetings or hosting pizza parties.

Slice Bar is taking over the Sheffield food scene one slice at a time and the proof is in the flavour.

Pizza perfectionist and Lead Chef at Slice Bar, Richard, said: “I’ve been making pizzas in Sheffield for years so I’ve had plenty of time to experiment to figure out what works well and what doesn’t. All kinds of customers come in for a slice; artists, skateboarders, students and professionals.”

“We want our pizzas to reflect the colour and diversity of the city which is why we offer so many cool and quirky options. Vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters; we’ve got something for everyone.”

The freshly updated Slice Bar menu consists of 13 different 16” pizzas, available whole or in quarter slices, a selection of new sides including dough balls and a foot-long pizza dog, and exclusive new pots that can be purchased as part of the ‘Last Supper’ meal offer. Pizza can be purchased between £2.50-£3.50 a slice and a ‘meal deal’ runs 12pm-3pm between Sunday & Thursday which includes a slice and a soft drink for just £4.

I tried several of these pizzas and they are cooked to the highest quality. You can tell only fresh ingredients have been used because the tastes are so rich and flavoursome. I even tried a Jackfruit pizza (facing my fear of vegan food pretending to be meat) and it turned out to be one of the best things I ate. The dough balls are served with a huge serving of intense garlic butter and the pizza dog…well, the pizza dog is a worthy opponent for anyone looking for a challenge. The huge smoked hot dog wrapped in cheese, dough, and tomato sauce
is definitely one of the quirkier menu items – but Slice Bar know how to perfect it and so that’s what they’ve done.

Throughout Veganuary, Slice Bar showed off its creativity by serving up a selection of plant-based specials alongside its usual line-up of colourful pizzas. Herbivores from all around Sheffield flocked to taste the new pizzas and the exciting flavours were enough to convince life-long meat-eaters to consider a vegan diet.

With such a diverse menu, it’s no surprise that Slice Bar has generated so much buzz across the city.

The new Slice Bar Instagram account @SliceBarSheff has quickly gained popularity as local foodies and Instagram users have begun sharing quirky and colourful images of their pizza. There are also special prizes up for grabs for those who tag Slice Bar in pictures of their slice.

Slice Bar is open from 12pm until 9pm on weekdays and stays open until midnight on weekends. The full menu is also now available on Deliveroo for orders during opening times. Diners can eat in or take out while taking advantage of special offers such as half-price Tuesdays and exclusive meal deals.
