New Alternative Festival announced for Northern Quarter, After all festival.

Known for its iconic venues, word renowned music scene and doing things differently – Manchester is always three steps ahead of other cities. Constantly changing and reinventing itself, in order to bring new ideas to the light.

Everything that is exciting and innovative about Manchester, will be reflected in the city`s new  alternative  festival – After All on May 19th. The festival will bring seventeen acts across three stages (Night & Day Café, AATMA and The Castle Hotel) for an evening of folk, rock and singer/songwriter extravaganza.

After All Festival is founded and organised by Owen Meikle – Williams, event management student at BIMM University in Manchester. Combining his lifelong passion for live music and his chosen field of study, Owen plans not only to bring the hottest new artists together for the day, but also raise funds for charity.

Says Owen Meikle – Williams: “We are raising money for two music related charities, both of which in turn support larger charities. Musicians Against Homeless (MAH) is a great cause, and you can’t walk around Manchester at the moment without seeing what a vital need this is. The money raised by MAH goes to support Crisis. Walter’s Page raises money for Make a Wish, helping kids with serious illnesses get some much needed joy. If you have not come across Walters Page, I seriously suggest you check out their Facebook page. Follow the antics of Walter and Eustace, literally a pair of muppets, as they turn up on stage, off stage and in the bar with some of the best known bands on the planet”.

After All Festival will be headlined by The Pagans S.O.H (Birmingham), Narcissus and James Holt. The line up also includes INEGO, Bones Shake, The Maitlands Mississippi Riot, Broomhead, The Any Numbers, The Last Clouds, Mark Pratt, Jouska, Leah Karis, Ian Lockett, Valve, Charlie Mechan, Pave and a DJ set  from Dave Sweetmore.

Tickets costs £10 – £12 in advance and £15 on the day.

Says Owen Meikle – Williams, founder and organiser of After All: “This festival is my pride and joy. I am so proud of this creation, and I hope to share it with everyone. This will be truly special.”
