For the last few years, the beautiful backdrop of Piece Hall in Halifax has played host to a number of big names across multiple genres of the music industry, from UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, to Embrace, to James and much more.
After a successful run of gigs back in 2025, there is a whole set of acts ready to go from June 2026 and we can’t wait.

Cuffe & Taylor are the ones bringing together lots of acts to the West Yorkshire beauty spot, from growing grassroots bands and artists, right up to some huge names that you may not expect, there is quite literally something for everyone.
So who are the big names?
We’ve got legendary ska-band Madness taking to the stage, as well as Wet, Wet, Wet frontman Marti Pellow, plus soul superstar Billy Ocean, for those more indie inclined, we have the legendary Shed Seven, plus Embrace making another appearance, along with 00’s staples The Kooks and The Wombats, plus many more.
There’s also some fantastic talent that could well make it on your radar, if it isn’t already of course – DJ Katie Owen, is one, she’s a cracking DJ and really knows how to warm up a crowd, she’s supporting Marti Pellow and Billy Ocean on 10th July 2026, The K’s have snagged their own headline after a number 1 album and a string of sellout shows, Irish queen CMAT is also headlining her own show at Piece Hall in July, and previous UK Eurovision entry Remember Monday are also making an appearance supporting Mcfly for their headline set in June.
Having been to a couple of the gigs at Piece Hall previously, it makes an absolutely stunning backdrop and makes for a brilliant atmosphere across the space, I’d only visited the place once before going there for a gig and never would have imagined it as a music venue, but you know what? It’s the perfect summer venue, drinks were flowing, people were singing and it was just beautiful – well worth it for the experience alone.
