Edinburgh Solo Artist Lachlan Drops Video For New Single Relay

Equally at home on the claustrophobic stages of dive bars such as Sneaky Pete’s as he is on festival stages entertaining 1000s, 21-year old Lachlan Will has become a permanent fixture of Edinburgh’s music scene. Having first cut his teeth in well received indie bands such as The Cliftons, Lost in Vancouver and more recently, Vandal Palace, and selling out headline shows at well-respected Edinburgh venues like as The Mash House, the singer-songwriter has now struck solo.

His latest single, ‘Relay’ is three minutes of rich guitar tones and punchy percussion that serve to backbone his idiosyncratic vocal delivery. “Relay is a tale of a relationship soured.” Will explains “The imagery of being rushed to the next person just as quick as being settled with the prior person. The seemingly endless inner battle with your emotions and the events that have transpired, for better or worse. It’s a modern-day tale of heartbreak and anguish.”

Following on from our recent review of the track, RGM are pleased to be able to premiere its video ahead of the official release:
