Following last years Comedy Podcast World Cup, Comedy Podcast Devotees have launched another tournament to declare the UK’s most popular comedy podcast. Last years title went to the QI’s Elves ‘No Such Thing As A Fish’ after a head -to-head with podcast King Richard Herring.

32 podcasts were nominated by the Comedy Podcast Devotees community and drawn into 8 seeded groups of 4 chosen by the number of votes received. Every day, a different group has been polled on Twitter and Facebook, the top 2 going through to the quarter finals. The semi finals will be 2 groups of 4 and then on the 17th April will be the grand final.

So many great comedy shows to listen and choose from. It’s going to be one hell of a battle and hopefully this will raise awareness of a variety of podcasts that have, for one reason or another, been off the listener’s radar.
