Following a killer year in the fields for Kendal Calling, celebrating 20 years, they finally dropped their much anticipated 2026 line-up.
2025 saw The Courteeners, Fat Boy Slim and The Prodigy take to the Main Stage as headliners, with some pretty memorable sets from the likes of Reverend and the Makers, The Lottery Winners and Travis (to name a few!) alongside them – you can read all of our Kendal Calling reviews HERE!
There’s been a lot of rumours flying around, plenty of talks of line-up wish lists on Kendal’s Calling You (if you know, you know!) but what do you think of this?

Kendal Calling 2026 Line-up – Asset Credit: Kendal Calling Festival
Thursday night sees the likes of 2000’s indie staple The Kooks and Vanessa Carlton, who seems to be popping up amongst the UK festival scene next year!
Biffy Clyro was a name that was popping up consistently in the rumours and like it or not, they were right, Biffy Clyro does put on a brilliant show and will be decent headliners, Two Door Cinema Club join, playing their album “Tourist History” in full and Wolf Alice joins the headliners.
They’re in good company though, with over 120 acts announced, I’m happy to see fan favourites Dick ‘n’ Dom return to do another set, pop icons Gabrielle and Scissor Sisters all join the lineup, some good indie artists from the likes of The Vaccines, Jamie Webster and The Snuts making appearances too, as well as some musical icons like The Libertines, Doves and of course, The Lancashire Hotpots.
I’m also really excited to see Rianne Downey on the line-up, along with some rising stars like Freddie Halkon, The Rosadocs and Ellur too, which pushes Kendal Calling’s love of new and upcoming music.
And yet, at this point, there’s still a couple more to be announced according to the poster, consider me intrigued!
Kendal Calling will reveal more of 2026’s programme including comedy, installations, the illuminated wonderland of Lost Eden, Tim Peak’s, their famous themes and more over the coming months, so keep an eye out.
Ben Robinson – Co-founder Kendal Calling said:
“I’m so excited to reveal next year’s line-up! Our brilliant team has secured a line-up worthy of the jaw dropping faith the Kendal Calling family put in us each year. Selling 98% of the tickets before announcing a single artist is the biggest compliment we could ever receive, so here’s an early Christmas present to say thank you!”
The 2026 edition of Kendal Calling will take over the beautiful Lake District’s Lowther Deer Park from Thursday 30th July to Sunday 2nd of August and they’re doing alright, as over 95% of tickets were sold before even announcing an act!
