Novena ‘Give Me A Call’ – Single Review

Belfast rockers Novena storm into view with this powerful debut single, Give Me A Call. Laced with infectious guitar riffs and piercing vocals, it announces itself with an undeniable swagger that grips you from the get-go, and refuses to relent until the last beat.

A concoction indie rock and American post-punk, this track manages to straddle the line of melodic and energetic perfectly. The riffs seem to switch genre throughout, ebbing between that floatier indie sound and more in-your-face rock.

Topped with the heavily American influenced vocals, it gives Give Me A Call a very memorable twist which embeds it into your consciousness.
