MADEMAKER
Tell you what, for a two-piece band, these guys have made a real impact this year.
They could quite possibly be the greatest grunge band the worlds never heard of, if you’re not sure, think Cobain fronted Beatles and you’re in the right ball park!
They’ve been making slow and steady progress this year whilst turning heads, releasing new music produced by themselves, it’s clear they’re hardworkers and we reckon this is starting to pay off.

M60
I first heard of M60 back in 2023 and was impressed, but how they’ve grown! Especially in 2025.
Lots of new music, some incredible listening figures in the millions, to announcing a headline tour for 2026, including one of their dream venues – the o2 Ritz in Manchester.
They’ve played some incredible festival sets as well (I was at their Kendal Calling Main Stage set where they opened and what a turn out they had!), they are gaining lots of new fans and rightfully so, we predict a bigger and better 2026 for M60.

WESTSIDE COWBOY
With their ramshackle debut EP arriving in the summer, 2025 has marked a breakout year for Westside Cowboy. Receiving widespread acclaim for their “Britainicana” sound, and with another EP set for release in January, the four-piece appear set for greater things – we’re looking forward to it!

THE CASES
This is another young and fresh band on the scene, making noise across the industry with their hunger and passion for it.
The Cases have released numerous tracks this year, pulled in some impressive crowds and caught the attention of John Kennedy on Radio X, as well as This Feeling, which is a hell of a cracking start.
They’re also off on a headline tour of the own in 2026, but they’ve also given back, rallying donations for a local foodbank in their home city of Preston, what a cracking set of lads!

GOOD HEALTH GOOD WEALTH
A duo that packs a punch.
They have the charisma of Del Boy (This time next year, Rodney, we’ll be millionaires!) and if you don’t believe me, believe them, they’re aiming for it.
They even released an album of the title “This Time Next Year, We’ll Be Millionaires” which gained incredibly positive feedback and they had a shot in the charts, so they’re clearly doing something right.
They’ve a cracking sense of humour and are very down to earth, this time next year, you’ll be raving all about them and raving to them, enough said!

This year has been big for The Sherlocks, having released their fifth studio album, which peaked at number 4 in the UK Albums Chart.
They also went on tour late in 2025, announcing 29 dates across the UK and at Christmas, dropping their first acoustic album available to stream, plus some excellent festival slots.
The lads have been busy and already have announced a Sheffield gig for Summer 2026, but I think there’s more to come…

The trio have really brought their A game in 2025!
This year they released their fourth studio album “I quit” which saw them go in a slightly different musical direction, but one that they are brilliant at all the same!
They also released a version collaborating with Bon Iver, which is impressive in itself!
They’ve also been on tour across the UK and North America and played some incredible festival sets, really showcasing their raw talent and passion.
