Primavera Sound is something of a gold-standard in the European festival calendar. Bar Glastonbury there is perhaps no bigger or more prestigious festival on the continent. And for its 24th anniversary the line-up is bigger than ever.
Leading the charge are goth-royalty The Cure, who hold the record for the longest set in the festivals history. Revitalised after the release of 2024’s, ‘Songs of a Lost World’ their set is sure to be storming one.
As for the rest of the line up, it is no less stacked with: Doja Cat, The XX, Gorillaz, Pinkpanthress, Lola Young, Little Simz, KNEECAP and Mac Demarco are also set to perform over the course of the weekend.
Perhaps the highlight of the weekend is a rare sighting of shoegaze masters My Bloody Valentine, who are set to bathe the Barcelona beaches with their angular brand of dream-pop. Bring your ear plugs.
Along side the main festival, Primavera are set to host an opening and closing party as well as a yet to be revealed parallel program that will extend the event to a whole week.
Primavera Sound is set to run between 4th and the 6th of June 2026, with general sale tickets set to be released on the 30th September.
However, fans have a chance at getting earlier tickets by registering for the fan sale, which will run up until the 28th September and is available on the Primavera Sound website.
