What made you decide that music is a thing for you?
I sang to YouTube my whole young life, and just fell in love with it. I used to watch the Voice and x factor as a child and hoped it would be me.

What was the first song you heard that steered you into a music path?
Halleluiah – I sung it at a talent show.
The music industry is the hardest industry in the world to progress in, how do you feel you are doing?
Really good, it is such a hard industry to break in, but I have released songs that get really good reviews, & streams and gigged at some awesome places.
I’m seeing a lot of debate about women not feeling safe at music gigs, any thoughts on what we need to do to help?
I always take someone with me the same as I would if was going out late at night anyway.
As you develop as an artist and develop using socials what ways do you get new ears on your music? Any tips?
Getting new ears to listen is so hard, I suppose pushing for playlists & radio play is a good start.

I was a synchronised swimmer.

What’s your thought on Spotify’s monopoly on the music industry?
With Spotify I suppose they have to invest their monies the same as we do to get the results, they like us are constantly having to re-invent their product in order to stay competitive they take the risks – we can’t have it both ways – we want to be heard and expect them to cover all the costs that just isn’t how business works. The mreo well known we become the more chance we have of getting money.
Do you sign up for any conspiracy theories?
No – not me at all…

What was the worst experience on stage?
I forgot my own song
Tell us something about you that you think people would be surprised about.
I lift heavy weights.
What makes you stand out as a band/artist?
My voice, the control and power and I don’t try to sound like anyone else.
I hear you have a new music, what can you tell us about it.
It’s Punky, Pop Rock angry & defiant and relatable but in a tongue in cheek way.
Talk me through the thought process of the new tune/s.
I listen to lots of reference tracks, come up with melodies then pass to my producer, he creates a beat and sends back then I write to it and the rest you get to hear.
What was the recording process like?
Relaxed & fun.
What was the biggest learning curve in writing the new tunes?
To keep it unique, the lyrics need to make a story.
