Hi Eden. What made you decide that music is a thing for you?

I’ve always been a big music fan but I’ve always appreciated the small intricate details in every song, which is what really got me into creating my own.

Introduce us to you and your musical history.

I began creating music with a friend around 2019, he knew what he was doing and I just knew what sound I wanted. When the lockdown in 2020 happened I knew this was the best time to start learning myself! I self-taught myself Logic Pro and then released my first single in July 2020.

What was life like for you before music?

What was the first song you heard that steered you into a music path?

I have been around music all my life so it’s hard to say, but when I discovered Björk is when I realised music can really be anything.

What’s the biggest thing you have learned from someone else in the industry?

Make the music you want to make.

If you could wish for one thing to aid your career what would it be?

Do you sign up to any conspiracy theories? If not why not?

No I don’t, I think I just have other things to think about other than lizard people.

What was the worst experience on stage?

Not the worst experience and not on stage but after, me, my family and friends all went to do some karaoke in a pub after my gig and the woman who worked there came over to tell me I was singing the song wrong and tried to teach me how to sing! I was a little bit drunk at this point and there was no effort put into it so I don’t blame her.

Tell us something about you that you think people would be surprised about.

I have retrograde cricopharyngeal dysfunction… A big scary way of saying I can’t burp.

What are the next steps you plan to take to reach the next level?

Currently I am doing my Masters Degree in music production to hopefully go down the road of producing music, however, I have always got music in the works and I am hoping to release a new EP this year.

I hear you have new music, what can you tell us about it.

It was a song I started over a year ago, I started writing it about my partner and by the time I went back to it we had moved in together. It’s about how mundane and hard life can be but how comfortable and happy I am with that because of who I’m with. But obviously with all the anxieties in the bridge because it wouldn’t be one of my songs without that.

Would you change anything now it’s finished?

The question to this answer is always yes but I can’t tell you what it would be because I don’t know, I just never feel like it’s finished.

Is there anything else you would like to share with the world?

Don’t create music you think other people want to hear, create it because you enjoy it.
