RGM INTRODUCING – WE INTERVIEW LA BAND SINNER SINNERS

What made you decide to start the band?

We come from a small town in the middle of the French countryside, we started playing music to fight boredom.

Introduce us to all to the members and your musical history?

We have Macy on lead guitar from Los Angeles CA, Mike on bass and Ben on guitar from Bradenton Florida, Jason from Greensboro North Carolina, Sam on keys and vocals from Den Haag NL and Steve on guitar and vocals from Moulins France. We all come from very different backgrounds and locations but we share a love for 70s punk and classic rock

What’s one question youre sick of being asked when interviewed?

We don’t get interviewed enough to get sick of being asked questions, we love them all!

We set up RGM USA to share music with America and the UK, good idea?

Best idea

Do you sign up to any conspiracy theories?

Yes, I think mozzarella is really egg white and Mikkey Dee from Motörhead was always Matt Leblanc with a wig.

How is LA at the min with new stories of fires?

It’s hard to keep track cause it’s all the time now

Did you buy anything you dont need in the pandemic?

A fuckton of board games we haven’t used since. I guess we needed them then

Right now, whats pissing you off the most?

LA traffic and traffic in LA

What’s your favourite song to play live and why?

Love playing celexa blues and We have a song called bleached out, favorite one cause it’s the one I’m the most proud of.

I hear you have new music, what can you tell us about it?

When we’re in the studio working on an album we always record a few covers, this time we decided to release them independently since they’re very different from what we usually play.

Talk me through the thought process of the EP?

We Almost always start with a guitar or a bass riff, build around it and get the entire instrumental done. Then I’ll struggle to fit some lyrics in there on the last day of recording.

What was the recording process like?

It’s about paying too much attention to details

What was the biggest learning curve in writing the ep?

Learning English was definitely the hardest part of it all

Would you change anything now it’s finished?

Always, I’d love to George Lucas the shit out of everything we’ve ever recorded, but I have no idea where I’ve put all the tracks

What are your plans for the year ahead?

Keep working on our album until it’s ready and start touring ahead

Is there anything else you would like to share with the world?

Yes, in case you didn’t know before David Bowie’s settled on the name David Bowie, his stage name was Tom Jones.
