Hiya N.U.N.O., thanks for joining us in the virtual RGM lounge today. Grab brew and take a seat.
What made you decide that music is a thing for you?
The absolute Freedom to let my feelings be, without outside interference. Simply put; the total freedom to be me.
Introduce yourself to us all and your musical history.
There was always music in the house when I was growing up, mainly being played by me as the only child. My father had passed away from the consequences of a car crash, when I was 4 years old. I used to listen to pretty much everything within my grasp. From Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, to N.W.A. and Public Enemy. Also, Ice Cube and the Wu-Tang Clan. We resonated with the street gangsters, since that’s how we lived, on the street.
What’s the live music scene like in Eindhoven right now?
The music scene in Eindhoven, The Netherlands is unknown to be, since I’ve been spending the last 20 years in psychiatric clinics for the criminally insane.
I’ve seen a lot of people struggling for support recently online. What’s your view on the industry?
The industry right now needs an impulse. Me! All kidding aside, the industry lacks character and depth. And it’s too monotonous. That’s why I say Me! My sound is unique and there should be more unique individuals out there who make music; just don’t bite me, or it’s going to be a problem.
Where do you feel you currently sit within the music industry?
Deep in the well where you don’t even hear the pin drop.
Tells us two truths about you.
I am not and will never be a womanizer. I’m strictly monogamist. I study every chance I get.
Do you sign up to any conspiracy theories? If not, why not?
I don’t because I tend to mind my own business and not be bothered with what everyone else thinks.
What best the best experience on stage?
The honnies rushing forward to hear me rap.
Tell us something about you that you think that you think people might be surprised about.
Like I said, I’m strictly monogamous, even though I am alone, right now, and I don’t drink.
What are the next steps you plan to take to reach the next level?
Promotion, networking and lots of praying.
I hear you have new music. What can you tell us about it?
You can call it a brief introduction to my style and raw emotion.
What was the recording process like?
Right here, in my cell, I set everything up and just let it flow. The rest is all technical stuff.
What was the biggest learning curve in writing the new tunes?
I wanted to make sure there would be the same theme at the start of the verses.
Would you change anything now it’s finished?
Absolutely not.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with the world?
Yes. Never conform out of fear of being ostracised.
