RGM INTRODUCING – WE INTERVIEW PARIS BAND BRACCO

Hiya folks thanks for joining us in the virtual RGM lounge today, grab a brew and take a seat.

What made you decide that music is a thing for you?

There are no proper reasons really.

things have developed itself naturally.

Doing stuff with friends, hanging out every night, one thing led to another it has became your life

Plus you get drugs for free

Introduce us to all to the members and your musical history?

We’re both from different parts of France. One from the idyllic and bucolic south and the other from the not so bucolic and not so beautiful Parisian suburbs. So it is a mix!

I grew up with not so much music and art basically, and nothing really to do so it was a kind of constant grinding to get things to feed my head. Now I’m always looking for amusements, since I got bored my whole youth.

As a youngster I was really into the early punk scene of from New York, I read “Please Kill Me” and it blew my mind, so that was it.

What was the first song you heard that steered you into a music path?

Fake tales of San Francisco – Arctic monkeys

The music industry is the hardest industry in the world to progress in, How do you feel you are doing?

We are doing just fine; we don’t kill each other and we tour a lot. We are making a living out of our passion thats the best

Tell us Two truths and a lie about you?

Alright I’ll mix it up

I am Tracy Edwards

I’d rather be a girl

I’m a bad musician

I wish I was black

Whats your thought on spotifys monopoly on the music industry?

The same thoughts that for any Monopoly

It kills creativity

It is less employement in the industry

Do you sign up to any conspiracy theories?

Yes a lot

Like bourgeoisie living out the proletariat’s back or the cowboys were actually mainly black folks

What was the worst experience on stage?

My mic cable was around my neck and two girls dragged me by the neck like a dog for a minute it was great

Tell us something about the band that you think people would be surprised about?

We sound better live

What makes you stand out as a band/artist?

Our performance live, beyond the way we look or the way we sound is what makes us stand out artistically. Like it is really something to experience, we applied ourselves to get something particular in live, something to please the freaks above all.

I hear you are on tour soon tell us all about it?

Yes we are

Love the travel and love U.K

English people are the funniest

How do you prepare for life on the road?

I bought an extra pants just in case i get wet

Whats the best bit about being on tour?

The best would be meeting new people all the time and changing cities like changing shirts :

Travelling is a fantasy I love.

How do we buy tickets?

London – The Grace on May 2nd

Newport – Le Pub on May 3rd

Wexham – Focus Wales on 4th & 5th

Is there anything else you would like to share with the world?

Yep, it is really stressful to come and play in the U.K since I sing in English and since half of the best bands ever are English

So, I won’t pee myself but almost!
