Introduce us to you all and your musical history.
Hi everyone, I’m Pierluigi Lotti, I’m 28 years old and I come from Italy. My approach to music came from a very young age with the guitar; growing up I was impressed by electronics, drum machines, synthesizers… I come from a provincial town where, as there was no internet, that whole world was unknown at the time. With curiosity I made my way and here I am
What made you decide that music is a thing for you?
Music has been and is an integral part of my life, as a listener and as a producer. It helps me keep my mind clean and represents my favorite communication channel
I’ve seen a lot of people struggling for support recently online. What’s your view on the industry?
It’s a difficult topic for me… I’m not a fan of social networks and many web dynamics that have established themselves in today’s industry.
Form is more important than substance, there is more and more superficiality in music and I am saddened by those who look for online shortcuts to stand out… also because it won’t work
Where do you feel you currently sit within the music industry?
An amazing stranger -hahaha-
Do you ever worry about people taking things the wrong way or cancel culture? Discuss….
Do you want the truth? I think it’s inevitable that it will happen. Due to the continuous and constant exposure we have today and the access to all the channels we have, whatever topic it is will end up finding haters, so the important thing is to be honest and transparent in the message you want to send, if someone gets offended, he won’t be the first or the last
Do you have any live performances planned?
I’m planning some live sets very carefully and I don’t want to rush to close them, I would like to bring something original… if all goes well let’s say in 2025
Tell us something about you that you think people would be surprised about.
In everyday life I am a social educator. For several years I worked in the field of disability, today I deal with migrant reception… It gives me great ideas for my productions
What are the next steps you plan to reach the next level?
A new chapter of music accompanied by great live performances
I hear you have a new music, what can you tell us about it.
I can’t say much about it… there will be good news and lots of good music, stay tuned
Would you change anything now it’s finished?
Musically I’m eternally indecisive… I spend very little time writing songs but I waste a lot of time sorting out the details. If I listened to myself I would always find something to improve or change, but I have learned to manage myself
Is there anything else you would like to share with the world?
Don’t be superficial ladies and gentlemen, in music as in life, be curious to discover new things and see from a different point of view.
