Hiya folks thanks for joining us in the virtual RGM lounge today, grab a brew and take a seat.

What made you decide that music is a thing for you?

I’ve always been a heavy consumer of music so it was only a matter of time before I took my passion for listening into a passion for creating.

Introduce us to you and your musical history.

First name: Rare , Surname: Trill. I made my first raps in 2010 which through voice notes recorded freestyle over a classic Biggie Smalls beat. My friends liked it a lot and that was the motivation to actually record in a studio for the first time and then record my first music video.

What was life like for you before music?

I started music in secondary school so I guess life before music was a lot of football and everyday school life.

What was the first song you heard that steered you into a music path?

There wasn’t a particular artist that steered me into music, I grew up listening to mainly US Rap/Hip-Hop  but once I got older I started listening to some local U.K artists, seeing how they incorporated culture into music was inspiring enough to make me grab the pen and start writing myself.

Where do you feel you currently sit within the music industry?

In the music industry I’d say I sit in the up and coming category.

What’s the biggest thing you have learned from someone else in the industry?

To do all your legalities from copywriting, production, publishing, distribution etc and not even think about releasing any music until the legalities are sorted.

Tell us two truths and a lie about you.

I jumped out an aeroplane.

I ran in the olympics.

I played semi-professional football.

If you could wish for one thing to aid your career what would it be?

Unlimited finances.

Do you ever worry about people taking things the wrong way or cancel culture? Discuss….

I don’t worry about cancel culture nor care about it! We are artists for a reason and free speech should be promoted, however being held responsible or accountable for something you say is justifiable.

What was the worst experience on stage?

Writing a song a day before performing and messing up the opening lines of the track whilst performing  😂.

Tell us something about you that you think people would be surprised about.

I’m a Top tier FIFA / EA sports gamer – beaten by few 😂.

What are the next steps you plan to take as an artist to reach the next level?

More music, more videos, more content overall

Whats your thoughts on Elon Musks contribution to the world?

I hear you have a new music, what can you tell us about it.

Grafters Season is the audio void that you have been missing in your life.

What was the recording process like?

The recording process for the project was very smooth since I have been working with the same engineer for a good amount of years now.

What was the biggest learning curve in writing the new tunes?

The biggest learning curve I learned whilst writing the new tunes is that I have a plethora of flows and bars.

Would you change anything now it’s finished?

Is there anything else you would like to share with the world?

Thanks for doing us today folks, send this back on a Word document and ill get it all ready for you.
