Hiya RGM, thanks for having us in the virtual lounge — kettle’s on, feet up, let’s go!
**What was life like for you before you got into music?**
Tony: Before music fully took over, life was colourful but missing that spark. Once I picked up a guitar, everything changed — it became the centre of everything I do.
Michael: I was always a creative writer, constantly dreaming up stories. Music became the perfect home for those ideas.
**What’s the live music scene like in West London right now? Anyone we should be looking out for?**
Tony: West London’s buzzing — loads of energy, loads of variety. You’ll find everything from indie bands to hip‑hop collectives popping up around the Thames. Definitely keep an eye on grassroots venues — there’s a lot of talent breaking through.
Yeah Sure please check out our YouTube Chanel Slade & England Chris Daniel eclectic, multi genre, producer and mix engineer of Resistance Fammo Music . Music venues like Under the Bridge, the Bush hall, The Cavern Club, Acklam Village and the brilliant Ram Jam Records Kingston.
**It seems like being a social media curator has become added to the many jobs of a musician. How do you feel about this?**
Together: It’s wild, isn’t it? One minute you’re writing a bassline, the next you’re editing a TikTok. It’s part of the job now, but we try to keep it fun and stay true to our creative energy.
**How do you manage engagement on your socials?**
Tony: With humour, positivity, and a lot of “Jet Car” clips!
Michael: And we genuinely love connecting with people who enjoy what we create.
**What’s your view on the music industry today?**
Together: It’s fast-moving, unpredictable, and full of opportunity — especially for independent artists with strong ideas. Creativity wins.
**Where do you feel you currently sit within the music industry?**
Together: We’re in the uplifting, futuristic pop-rock lane — doing our own thing, building momentum, and connecting with people worldwide.
**What’s the biggest thing you have learned recently as you progress with your music?**
Tony: Trust the creative spark — it knows what it’s doing.
Michael: That imagination really is limitless when you have the right partner.
**What was your best experience on stage?**
Tony: Playing Glastonbury with the Rinky Dink Pedal Powered PA System — nothing beats that energy and community vibe.
**What was your worst experience on stage?**
Tony: Easy. A stage manager forgot to turn off the dry ice machine and wandered off to the loo. Mid‑solo, the harmonica player — who’d had one or two too many — toppled right off the stage into a piano. Absolute chaos. Crowd loved it though.
**Tell us something about each member that might surprise people.**
Tony: I’m heavily influenced by Bowie, Bolan, and ELO, but I’ve also performed all over the world using pedal-powered sound systems.
Michael: I’m deeply inspired by 60s pop and The Beatles — storytelling is in my bones. I also wrote the script and storyboard for the Jet Car video.
**I hear you have new music. What can you tell us about it?**
Together: “Jet Car” — our futuristic, feel‑good rock-pop track — has taken off worldwide. The video caused a proper stir!
**What was the recording process like?**
Tony: Pure energy. We recorded with producer Chris Daniel in his studio near the legendary Eel Pie Island — you can feel the musical history in the walls.
**What was the biggest learning curve in writing the new tunes?**
Michael: Letting imagination go wild while still keeping the message tight.
Tony: And refining that groove-rock feel so it hits instantly.
**Would you change anything now it’s finished?**
Together: Not a thing — Jet Car is exactly how it needed to be.
**Is there anything else you’d like to share with the world?**
Together: “Be Futuristic.” And keep an eye out — we’ve got two new songs coming in the New Year. The creativity is only just getting started.
