Hi Thexele, thanks for joining us today. What was the first song you heard that steered you into a music path?
My mother loved listening to classical piano music when she was pregnant with me, and I even remember that. The most vivid memories and the first acquaintance with music after birth was the song “Shary Lady” by Modern Talking.
The music industry is the hardest industry in the world to progress in, How do you feel you are doing?
If this is the case, it means that I’m not looking for easy ways. (Laughing)
Did you buy anything you don’t need during the pandemic?
Yes, I admit, I have dozens of unread books and online courses that I did not participate in. But I still hope it can be done.
I hear you have new music, what can you tell us about it.
Yes, my first album “Music of the Soul” consists of compositions of various genres that originated at different times. I did it myself from the beginning to the end. This album means a lot to me because it’s sincere and a little magical. The photo of a swing for the album cover art was chosen by me not by chance – it is symbolic, and that’s exactly what you will feel when you listed to the album. (smiling). Also, the album will be released in CD format. In this digital world right now, I think that fans still need something physical. This whole release is nostalgia.
What was the recording process like?
The recording process was very natural for me, because all my music starts from piano (synth) playing. Today I have my small home production & record studio, so this album was created there, sometimes by nights (smiling). Having gained new professional experience, I was able to revise the mixing and mastering of the tracks, add new touches to the arrangements, and, in some compositions, significantly improve the production and add my own vocals and back vocals.
Is there anything else you would like to share with the world?
Sure, this year I would like to release several singles and the first pop EP with my original songs.
Tell us Two truths and a lie about you?
I like a sense of humor. I like to watch TV series. I’m a vegan.
What made you decide that music is a thing for you?
I started composing music at an early age without musical schooling. It has always been something more than just a hobby, it was a spiritual need, a manifestation of higher energies. But even knowing this, I could not even dream that the music industry was for me, due to life’s difficulties, lack of support from relatives and my own prejudices. Besides, I had been moving towards this decision for a long time, the search for “myself” was very challenging. Now I’m willing to say that musical and other arts are my destination.
