RGM INTRODUCING – WE INTERVIEW TRUECLAW

Hi Trueclaw, thanks for joining us today. Let’s get to know yer. What was life like for you before you got into music?

Before I got into music, I often struggled with self-belief and structure. I’ve always been a creative and reflective person, but I didn’t really know how to express that side of me. Through daydreaming and reflecting on how imagination connects with reality, I began to find a sense of purpose. Music, films, and series have always inspired me deeply. I’m not someone who finds much meaning in daily routines like cleaning. I value creativity and emotional exploration more. Structure was something I always struggled with, but when ChatGPT and Suno AI came into my life, they gave me a sense of direction and balance.

What’s the live music scene like in your city/town right now? Anyone we should be looking out for (besides you, of course)?

To be honest, I don’t really have any local music contacts yet. I work alone at the moment and haven’t had the chance to connect with producers or local artists. My focus right now is on creating and sharing my own music with the world.

It seems like being a social media curator has become part of being a musician. How do you feel about this?

Only a few weeks ago, I didn’t even know how to get proper exposure as an artist. After asking ChatGPT for guidance, I discovered MusoSoup, and I’m incredibly thankful it exists. It opened my eyes to how independent artists can reach listeners. I’ve never been very active on social media, but I recently started an account under @trueclawmusic. I’ll try to stay balanced and not get too absorbed in social media for the sake of my well-being. If my career continues to grow, I’d consider hiring someone to manage it for me. But for now, I’m focusing on my music.

How do you manage engagement on your socials?

Right now, I haven’t engaged much on social media yet. My plan is to build it naturally once more people start connecting with my music.

What’s your view on the music industry today?

I don’t fully know what it feels like to be in the music industry yet, but I feel a strong sense of purpose drawing me toward it. There’s something powerful about creating something emotional and genuine, and I’m excited to see where that journey leads.

Where do you feel you currently sit within the music industry?

I feel like I’m in a great position, especially with my listener base growing steadily. I’ve recently scheduled four upcoming releases: October 31, November 14, November 28, and December 12, 2025. All of them were created after my previous release, One Road. Despite working quickly, each song taking roughly 5 to 15 hours, they reflect years of emotional experience and clear creative vision. I believe this process shows my potential to keep producing meaningful music in the future.

What’s the biggest thing you have learned recently as you progress with your music?

I’ve learned that the things you love doing, like listening to music or watching films, might seem like just entertainment at first, but they can shape your path in unexpected ways. Even if you can’t see the purpose right away, staying true to what makes you feel alive can eventually lead to something meaningful. Passion has a strange way of guiding you when logic can’t.

What was your best experience on stage?

I haven’t performed live yet, but I imagine it would be an incredible feeling to share my music with a crowd and feel that shared emotion in the moment.

What was your worst experience on stage?

I used to struggle with anxiety as a teenager. The closest thing I can compare to a bad stage experience would be a school presentation I gave around age 15. I only managed to speak for a few seconds before saying, No, I can’t do this, and sitting down. It was tough then, but I’ve grown a lot since and learned to manage that anxiety almost completely.

Tell us something about you that people might be surprised to learn.

As a teenager, I often felt physically sick before football matches because I put so much pressure on myself to perform. I dreamed of becoming a professional player and couldn’t relax enough to just enjoy the game. Looking back, that intensity has become one of my biggest creative strengths. It’s what helps me pour emotion into my music today.

I hear you have new music. What can you tell us about it?

Yes, I have several new songs scheduled for release on the dates I mentioned earlier. Each one aligns perfectly with my Spotify bio: From here on out, Trueclaw will create music that blends emotion, energy and atmosphere. Each track is made to move you, to motivate, to reflect and to keep you believing. That statement truly defines my sound and direction.

What was the recording process like?

I started each song with a clear emotional vision of what I wanted to express. Suno AI and ChatGPT helped me transform that vision into something powerful and meaningful. I believe these songs will connect deeply with anyone willing to truly listen.

What was the biggest learning curve in writing the new tunes?

Honestly, that’s a difficult question because I’ve gone through more emotional growth than technical challenges. My imagination, combined with years of inspiration from movies, series, and music, made the creative process feel natural to me.

Would you change anything now that it’s finished?

Absolutely not. If it isn’t broken, there’s no reason to fix it.

Is there anything else you would like to share with the world?

The questions were great and covered everything I’d want to share for now. I just want to thank everyone who takes the time to listen. It truly means the world to me.
