RGM NEWS – BUTTERFLY VENDETTA ANNOUNCES SEVENTH ALBUM RELEASE

Butterfly Vendetta has officially confirmed the title and release date for their seventh studio album. “Adjectives & Expletives” is slated for a digital debut on December 5, 2025. Their new full-length promises to be their most ambitious album to date, with fourteen tracks and instrumentation recorded in real-time. Fans of Paramore and The Dollyrots will feel right at home with these tracks in their rotation.

What began in November 2007 as a side project for composer and filmmaker David Dillehunt, quickly took shape following the introduction of Bianca Vee just one month later. Vee had served as songwriter and lead vocalist for the former Richmond, Virginia band *454*, and their pairing immediately sparked a creative partnership under the *454* banner. Formalizing the Butterfly Vendetta name in July 2008, the duo focused their collective energy into their debut album, “Reborn,” in November 2009.

While Dillehunt and Vee remain at the core, the addition of bassist Remy Trail in 2013 and drummer John Allietta in 2017 has solidified Butterfly Vendetta as a powerful, cohesive unit that seamlessly blends gritty rock intensity with sophisticated musicianship. The group has spent years perfecting a signature style that is both raw and refined. Their collective chemistry takes center stage on “Adjectives & Expletives,” a poignant exploration of love and loss.

The introspective lyrics of Vee are fully embodied in this collection of tracks, touching on numerous life lessons at a very personal level, including the final track penned by Dillehunt himself. The band plows through these emotions in short order, while taking just the right amount of time with each subject. The end product is a powerful testament to this dedicated group of friends that has stood the test of time, while continuing to fly under the radar.
