Zelha – Empty Calls

London based Zelha is about to start 2021 with a bang, the half Mexican, half Belgian, singer-songwriter is set to release her latest single ‘Empty Calls’ in February, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. Produced by Jack Gourlay, the track sees Zelha discuss the not-so-ideal issue of someone liking you, yet it not being reciprocated. ‘Empty Calls’ is a catchy track, destined to get your toes tapping.

Lyon Tide – Closure

Birmingham pop-duo Lyon Tide have made their debut with the stunning song, ‘Closure’. ‘Closure’ is a sensual, yet delicate track about closure, and how it does not have to come from someone that you’ve recently parted ways with. ‘Closure’ is reminiscent of Radiohead, with synth-soaked reverb. The track shows that Lyon Tide are off to a flying start, and with an EP on its way, they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

The Roster – Indecisive

Derby’s The Roster have released their new single, ‘Indecisive’, this month. The track features some of the band’s strongest instrumentation to date. ‘Indecisive’ is full to the brim with swagger and attitude and is destined to sound even better live when gigs can hopefully happen. Already, The Roster have a huge following, playing some of Derby’s iconic venues. With ‘Indecisive’, The Roster prove that rock is not dead.

Suchy Sha – Let’s Talk

‘Let’s Talk’ is the stunning new charity single by Suchy Sha. The track is written about the touching and emotive topic of suicide, and losing the ones close to you. ‘Let’s Talk’s message is clear, no matter what you’re going through, you aren’t alone. People’s reactions to the track have been immense already, with listeners expressing how much courage it has given them. Inspired by the likes of Amy Whinehouse, instrumentally beautiful and for a worthy cause.

The Underclass – The One

Stoke’s The Underclass release their new single, ‘The One’.The track sees the band go from strength to strength, both lyrically and instrumentally. ‘The One’ is easily The Underclass’ strongest release to date, seeing the band mature. The band have released the track on limited edition vinyl, with both versions selling out. If ‘The One’ is anything to go by, 2021 is destined to be the year of The Underclass.
