It’s RGM video premiere time, today we have the new video from Sam B-K and his new video Jekyll & Hyde.
Here are a few words about the video, enjoy!👊
“For Jekyll & Hyde I wanted to show a look into the darker side of nightlife, going out for a drink with your mates, peer pressure, lad culture, mental health and men’s mental health in particular.
Sam’s draws from his own experiences and shows the other side of the coin when it comes to nightlife and that it’s not always as pleasant as it seems.
Following on from a nervous breakdown in 2019, Sam wanted to turn his own experiences into art and not only does he pull back the curtain on his own life to do so but gives listeners a contemporary piece of art they can hopefully use themselves to vicariously live through should they experience something similar.
We had to be quite clever filming the mirror scene to show both Jekyll & Hyde in the edit, There’s also some Prodigy homage from their music video for Fire Starter which you can see during the underpass tunnel shots. It was filmed in local pubs and locations to me on some very cold December nights! Both actors were used from a local theatre group, same as I did with the video for my debut song ‘The Chase’. I always make sure to use local talent so not only myself but the community benefits from the video.
