South by Southwest is known for featuring a huge lineup of global artists over multiple days. Navigating the enormous collective can be tough if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Whatever you plan to find, add these 10 must-see performers to your list.

Lukas Nelson

Singer/songwriter Lukas Nelson is the front-man of the band Promise of the Real and the son of the great Willie Nelson. Lukas’s pure and intense sound, created by soulful vocals and emotional guitar will leave you happy you came.

Robert Ellis

Novelist is a 22-year-old independent grime MC and producer from London. He commands the stage with his high-speed, ruthless flow. Novelist offers passionate and purposeful lyrics, and his jumpy dance beats will hype any crowd.

Avalanche Party

This self-described feral garage punk band from the UK will be making their US debut at SXSW. They are fierce and full of energy with entrancing guitar rifts you’ll definitely want to hear.

Dungeon Family

Dungeon Family is a Hip-hop, R&B, and soul collective from Atlanta who’s added SXSW to their reunion tour this year. The group, consisting of Big Boi, Goodie Mob, Sleepy Brown, Organized Noize, and KP the Great will bring the best of southern hip-hop with a heavy funk influence.

Boy Azooga

This extremely talented band will be making their way from Whales, full of lighthearted energy. Their lead singer, Davey Newington is rich in musical talent that’s ingrained in his family for generations. You won’t want to miss their tranquilizing vocals and artistic instrumentals.

Pink Sweat$

Pink Sweat$ is an up-and-coming R&B artist and Philadelphia Native. His style consists of personal and relatable songs with a soft and emotional vibe. You’re sure to be impressed by his quintessential vocals.

Wood & Wire

The group of Austin-based musicians creates a 4 piece string ensemble offers skilfully crafted Americana bluegrass pieces. This Grammy Nominated group pushes the boundaries of country and bluegrass to create a truly beautiful sound.

X Ambassadors

X Ambassadors are a well-known group from Ithaca, New York. The group recently featured on the track “Home” with Machine Gun Kelly and Bebe Rexha for the Netflix original film Bright. It would be a shame to miss these honestly talented performers offer their dark, electronic pop sounds lead by the throaty, intense vocals of Sam Harris.
