Since 2012, The Leadmill Comedy Club has given punters a chance to see the next big thing on The Leadmill stage, and an opportunity for budding new comedians to make a name for themselves. Comics such as James Acaster, Joe Lycett and Troy Hawke have all graced the club and gone on to become viral comedy superstars.
As well as the comedy club, The Leadmill plays host to touring comedians. Just this year they have already had the pleasure of entertaining the likes of Jon Richardson, Eddie Izzard, and Reginald D Hunter. Coming up, they have the fantastic Maisie Adam, David O’Doherty and Chris McCausland to name just a few, as well as sold-out shows with Tom Allen and Mike Wozniak.
Other notable acts over the past 10 years include: Sara Pascoe, Sindhu Vee, Nish Kumar, Adam Hills, Simon Amstell, Ross Noble, Russell Kane, Paul Sinha, Iain Stirling, Rob Delaney, Rachel Parris, Jamali Maddix, James Acaster, Jason Manford, Shaparak Khorsandi, Josie Long.
The Comedy Club occurs on the 1st Wednesday of every month and hosts a night of outstanding comedians, mouth-watering food, and belly-busting laughter.
