The Modfather Heads To The Seaside! Paul Weller in Lytham

The Lytham Festival is an annual five-day music festival held in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. The festival takes place adjacent to Lytham Windmill on Lytham Green, a strip of grass between the town’s coastal road and The River Ribble estuary.

This year sees the event held over ten nights with a stellar line-up which will no doubt see music fans of all genres flock to the coast. This year the festival has been expanded to ten days and will see big named artists perform at Lytham Green.

Amongst the A list acts including The Strokes, Duran Duran and Elbow, is the ‘Modfather’ himself, Paul Weller! Weller will be headlining the festival on the 10th July and will bring the even to a close. Weller will be supported by Welsh neo soul artist Nia Wyn, Leigh’s most famous exports ‘The Lottery Winners’, and West Midlands Rock legends The Charlatans.

Weller is currently touring the UK before heading over to Ireland later on this year starting in Galway on the 8th October. Weller’s UK tour coincides with the reissue of Paul’s critically acclaimed, ninth solo studio album ’22 Dreams’ which is coming out on 22nd July on double-LP.

I would urge you to book your tickets now for the Lytham line up as they will not be around for long. Tickets can be purchased from the official festival site here https://www.lythamfestival.com/.
