This is the official video for The Radio Addicts single “Let’s Party Like Its The 90s”, which was officially released on 12th June 2026, and hit 10,000 Spotify streams within 3 weeks!
Luke Cardwell (vocalist and writer) says; “We love this song, its our best release so far and we are so hyped for the reaction that it is had so far! The video was great fun to record and we are so, so, so, grateful to the legend that is Alan O’Brien who has produced, written, directed and edited this for us for no charge whatsoever.
Sometimes we pinch ourselves in this band, as we are so lucky, and this is one of them moments, Alan has created a mini movie, like a modern day “Thriller” just with less zombies – ha ha. The video is brilliant! Honestly, I guess everyone says that about their music videos, well this is a Music Movie with actors, choreography, beer pong and so so so so much more.
It was recorded at Daniel and Jonathan’s house, so big thanks to Lisa, Dave and Abbie as everyone really trashed their house! Watch out for Sandy The Dog. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Massive thank you to RGM for hosting the Premiere, will love RGM!!”
The video is a mini movie telling the story of an initially poorly attended house party … until The Radio Addicts play!
The movie was kindly created by the brilliant Alan O’Brien who has written, produced, directed and edited the video. The video was recorded in Bolton in June 2026 at Daniel & Jonathan’s home at the best house party ever!
The song is two minutes forty five seconds of catchy pop punk indie rock and roll that celebrates great times at a party with a little bit of era envy to the days of Brit Pop and the more hedonistic times of the 1990s, where people could party without fear that any mistake or over indulgence would be filmed, photographed, and broadcast to the world online. There are big hooks, an arms aloft sing a long chorus, pounding drums, pounding bass and an exquisite guitar line.
