THIS FEELING X HUNTER STAGE LIVE AT TRUCK FEST – WHAT’S HAPPENING?

The rock ‘n’ roll club night, festival and new music champions This Feeling have partnered with the iconic British bootbrand Hunter to host a stage at this summer’s Truck Festival. Running from July 25th-28th at Hill Farm, Oxfordshire, the This Feeling x Hunter stage presents an opportunity for the next generation of essential new artists to take their place on the bill alongside headliners IDLES, Jamie T, Wet Leg and The Streets. Hunter has become a must-wear festival look, as worn by the likes of Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Alexa Chung. In an article highlighting how “boots
became a cool festival girl staple,” Vogue enthused, “Hunter still leads the pack.”

This Feeling founder Mikey Jonns says, “I’m really excited to be able to team up with Hunter to bring the country’s best breaking talent to Truck Festival. Over the years, This Feeling has been proud to give a host of big names their first opportunity to play at Truck: Red Rum Club, Dylan John Thomas, Only The Poets, Sophie and The Giants, Rianne Downey, The Clause and Overpass to name but a few. I truly believe that our line-up is bringing you tomorrow’s festival headliners today.”

Oliver Lewis, Head of Brand at Hunter adds, “Hunter are proud to be supporting the This Feeling stage for grassroot talent at Truck Festival 2024. Festival culture is at the core of the Hunter brand and we are excited to be celebrating this year by supporting up-and-coming talent. Over the decades, Hunter has been the go-to brand for festival icons. We are pleased to be supporting this year’s This Feeling line-up as they begin their journey as the next generation of festival icons.”

Saturday night headliners The K’s are in the middle of a major breakthrough moment. Their gritty hi-octane rock ‘n’ roll has seen the Warrington quartet play huge shows as guests to the likes of Liam Gallagher and Kasabian, their rise soundtracked by a growing catalogue of bangers such as ‘Sarajevo’, ‘Glass Towns’ and ‘Got A Feeling’.

Having been on the cusp of a major breakthrough for a while, 2024 is the year that The K’s are achieving big things – as already seen with a #3 chart position for their debut album ‘I Wonder If The World Knows?’, which was only kept off the top spot by two of the biggest artists around: The Libertines and Beyoncé. They have also just won Best Breakthrough Act at the inaugural Northern Music Awards.

The K’s guitarist Ryan Breslin states, “It’s an honour to be asked to headline This Feeling By The Sea. We started out with This Feeling doing our first gigs on the circuit and to now be headlining their festival is class.”
