TROUBLE “That’s the way” – Single Review

RGM is going across the pond to the USA for this one, and it appears the World Cup isn’t the only thing stirring up trouble, quite literally.

TROUBLE is a duo from Nashville, made up of Kyla Hope and Sofia Werner, Kyla describes her style as “both glamorous and grounded, equal parts attitude, vulnerability, and fun.” whilst Sofia leans towards “vulnerability with confidence, honest, polished, and deeply personal, balancing introspection with bold self-expression.”

“that’s the way” is the latest release from TROUBLE, after their single “bad boy” dropped in April 2026, and given the bold impression I was given of the duo, I was intrigued.

It really doesn’t waste anytime with an instant vocal intro, followed up with a pop instrumental that literally pierces through the atmosphere, and both vocals really pack a punch.

It’s a short-ish track at 2 minutes 41 seconds, and is very much a pop-dance track, not usually my sort of thing, but to be honest, it’s catchy, it’s fun and you can have fun with it, it would do well in a nightclub, especially given that some of the lyrics include “let’s dance” and “let’s move” – it is what it says on the tin.

The vocals are polished and fun and both Kyla and Sofia’s voices do work very well together, I would have liked to hear something individually between them (or more of individual solo’s where possible) but it is a solid track, it is bold, fun and you could easily let your hair down to it.

Consider me intrigued, I’ll be looking out for more from them.
