Earlier this year I went to Vegas on RGM duties and from my bedroom, I could see this weird Black ball in the distance.
I had no idea what it was but could see it changing colour, the taxi lady taking me home to the airport told me it was part of the new Las Vegas Grand Prix setup. So when I got home to find out it was a new music venue it was a big surprise to me. I would have paid more attention to it.
This weekend it opened, U2 are now the residents and plan to perform there for the foreseeable.

The Sphere has a seated capacity of 17,600, but has a standing room capacity of 20,000 people.
Of the 17,600 seats, 10,000 are immersive with a special sound system that allows guests to “feel” sound vibrate.
