Vegan Week is back in Sheffield with a new line up of specials

True North Brew Co is bringing back one of its most popular food events this august as its South Yorkshire venues prepare to dish up a huge selection of incredible plant-based recipes. Vegan Week has already proven to be one of the most popular food events of the year and has generated a lot of interest on social media.

Executive Head Chef, Andy Burns has helped lead the way for Vegan Week by experimenting with exciting vegan recipes and developing new ideas for the upcoming event. He said, “Vegan food is now more popular than ever and we’re looking forward to showing the vegans all over South Yorkshire what we’ve got to offer. The seven-day event is a perfect chance for our chefs to showcase their skills and craft amazing plant-based recipes that even meat-eaters will love!”

Food lovers will find a selection of special vegan dishes alongside the regular menus at all True North venues from 12th – 18th August. Specials will include everything from artisan pizzas to spicy jackfruit burgers and vegan pies. This is definitely one to put in the diary for vegans and meat-eaters alike.

Prices of dishes and specific recipes will vary between venues but there will be something for everyone, from light lunch snacks to hearty meals. Here are the venues in Sheffield where you can take part and try some of the food:

The Common Room | Forum Kitchen + Bar | The Old House | The York | Riverside Kelham | The Broadfield | The Waggon & Horses | The British Oak
