It’s another RGM video premiere, today we have the new video from SAM B-K and their new video The Chase.

I was sitting with my guitar and wanted to write the perfect intro song for going out on a night out drinking with your mates, a proper indie disco floor filler anthem that also had the same vibe as Somebody Told Me by The Killers or I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor by Arctic Monkeys. I wanted a catchy, guitar-driven, chaotic mess that sounded like a night at the Leadmill.
The music video was a huge community effort which I am incredibly grateful for. My friends grandad owns a Working Men’s Club so I invited everyone I knew and everyone locally via lots of Facebook groups to turn up for a large scale music video.
We had people aged from 18 to over 80, even the grandma’s were head-banging! A lot of the other people were from local drama/theatre groups who I’d asked if they’d like to volunteer also. I paid for everyone to have a bacon butty and watch us play whilst we filmed a little narrative to go on at the same time.
It would have never happened without everyone who got involved and made it look like a proper professional music video. I’ll never forget it and it’s one of the most fun and best experiences I’ve ever had. I really think that comes across in the video.
