It’s another RGM video premiere, today we have the new video from the amazing Jessie Scarlet and their new video Side to Side.
Here are a few words from Jessie about the video, enjoy!👊
“Side to Side is my second single and second music video. The track is a comeback song I wrote about being betrayed by people believed to be friends, wishing them well, and stepping aside for karma to do its thing.
We filmed the video on October 1st, 2023 at The Waterloo Music Bar in Blackpool. Upstairs is empty and undecorated, and perfect for the derelict eery vibes we were going for in this video. I wanted the track and the visuals to portray ANGER! Venomous, raging, energised anger to get across how angry I was, finding out I had been actively used and lied to for such a long time.
I wanted to use the video and song as a way to get all of the pain I felt out and help me close a door on that part of my life. The location was spooky with no lights other than the red camera lighting. We spent so long in the room with that red light that our eyes started to adjust and our vision went almost sepia! I couldn’t walk around by myself, it was so scary up there! Certain rooms felt like I couldn’t even look in them for fear of what might be lurking!”
