It’s RGM video premiere time, today we have the new video from Albie Bach and his new video ‘Backstabbers’ Last Show.

“The main thing that sets Backstabbers’ Last Show apart from the rest of the set is that I had the musical idea, the riff, structure and certain harmonic cadences were in place when I was gifted the seed for its creation. That was in the late 1970’s! The tune is so moving and catchy as a pop tune that it could easily have been corrupted or diluted into being something totally superficial and tacky. I wanted it to carry a powerful message, and was guided by developments in the age old spiritual battle between humanity and its captors. It is a rousing call to action to each end every one of us to take back our power and responsibility from those who have not the wit to stand on our behalf.
The guitar and vocals were recorded live on location in the English Lake District, I’d already laid down the groundwork drums, bass and backing vocals in my studio. We have some video footage of these recording sessions which can be shared on various channels after release, let’s see how that develops.
Making the video was great fun, working with Anunna Healing throughout. Some of the video shoot was in the Lake District close to Windermere and some scenes in rural West Yorkshire near Huddersfield, great locations. We had a marathon trek up to the top of Gunners Howe with all the gear, definitely one of those times where you wish you didn’t have a hardcase for the guitar! And it led to some very engaging conversations with trekkers on the way up and on the way back. You never know, those friendly trekkers may recognize the location and look back on that when they see the video.”
