“God from the Machine has spent the past two years writing, recording, performing, and
releasing music. Many describe our sound as being reminiscent of 90s Brit rock. A
comparison welcomed by us both. Following a brief interlude since the release of The River we
are pleased to return with our new single Somebody Lost.
Somebody Lost started off as a stripped-down acoustic track featuring just a finger-picked guitar
and vocals. The themes of loneliness and detachment are explored through the lyrics to create
an introspective lens that focuses on the emotions experienced during a period of isolation from
those around you.”
