“I wrote ‘Too Close to the Sun’ after losing a close friend to an accidental overdose.It was one of those songs that just poured out of me – raw, emotional, and honest.It’s about grief, yeah, but also about healing and holding on. I wanted it to feel like a hug for anyone who’s ever lost someone too soon – a reminder that you’re not alone, and that we do recover.”
“Too Close To The Sun” obtained track of the week across BBC introducing Sheffield and Leeds and is the 2nd single from the upcoming EP “Slowburn” out everywhere on May 21st.
Harri and her band will be holding an EP launch at Sheffield venue “Sidney and Matilda”on Saturday May 24th alongside bands JUNK and Cabrons
Profit earned from the single will be donated to “Addiction Family Support” a charity that helps the families of those struggling with addiction
