“I discovered P.J. Harvey in 1993 with 4-Track Demos, and its rawness, lo-fi production values and honesty completely blew me away. It changed many of my paradigms as a songwriter and musician.
30 years later I felt like I had to go back and pay homage to her, by re-imagining one of her songs in my own vocabulary. Me-Jane (one of my all-time favorites) felt like the natural choice to combine both sonic landscapes, hers, and mine.”
