VIDEO PREMIERE : WE HAVE THE NEW VIDEO FROM THIS BLISS – ONE DAY

It’s rgm video premiere time, today we have the new video from This Bliss and their new video One Day.

Here are a few words about the video, enjoy!👊

This Bliss first appeared under the AnalogueTrash banner last December when their track Timeless featured on AnalogueTrash: Label Sampler Vol. 7. This June sees the music shine bright on One Day – their first official standalone release on the label.

This Bliss is Jess Baggia and Nick Zampiello, a wife and husband indie pop duo whose blend of infectious electropop and singer/songwriter stylings come together in the form of melody-driven songs laden with vintage-sounding analogue synths.

Nick’s signature video style is video synthesis. He uses a modular VJ tool based on Quartz Composer, which is great for image manipulation and layering. For ‘One Day’, he used an audio input to allow the music to modulate the colors and brightness of images. He sampled a free-use video from 1959 by Creative Arts Studios.

The track draws inspiration from Jess and Nick’s own process as creatives in their own right, and their role in helping others express their own artistic selves: “One Day is both a love letter to art and an acknowledgment of how painful it can be to be an artist,” says Jess. “Ultimately, it’s about finding your voice.”

She continues, “One Day was a case of joyful songwriting: sometimes the song pours out without much thinking and it’s a pleasure. We continue to streamline our production process, and the ease of that workflow is reflected in the final product.” ‌
