It’s a double RGM video premiere, today we have the new videos from The Vaulted Skies For Almost Happy and Hollowhead

“Almost Happy is about appreciating what you have, and trying to keep your inner demons at bay. So I wanted the video to capture that, and wanted to try using generative AI to achieve it, because I think who we are digitally is often an extension of our persona.
What I love about Kaiber’s ‘Evolve’ function is that it deepened the narrative about identity. You can see how the main characters in the video are fluctuating between normality and other states, while the descriptions I put in of the band members also present different versions of them.
I’m by no means an expert in prompt engineering in Kaiber, but I think there’s something fascinating about how the system is referencing all these different touchpoints to try and bring what you’ve asked for to life. The varying pace of the video is a strong reflection of my state of mind during the first lockdown, when the song was written.”
“The central message in Hollowhead is ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’. That’s why it’s a good companion piece to Almost Happy; even though they are stylistically quite different, they’re both about changing your perspective on a negative situation.
In Hollowhead, people become trees, trees become buildings, buildings become graveyards, and so it goes on.
Again this was achieved using Kaiber’s generative AI tools, and because Hollowhead is a bit more introspective, I used prompts based on the lyrical content of being lost. It’s dedicated to my father who – as an immigrant coming to England from India as a child – experienced positive and negative discrimination.”
