We Premiere The Rousing New Single from Alt-Rockers InAir – ‘Same Skies’
An alt-rock three-piece from Reading, InAir’s idiosyncratic take on the genre stems from a passion in contrasting clean, shimmering guitars with atmospheric synths, often backed by an impressly cinematic chorus. Indeed, the band draw from a rich well of influences, something that enables their sound to constantly evolve.
With a smattering of singles already under their belts, not to mention two well-received EP’s including the Kerrang!-lauded A Different Light, the Reading trio are back with their new single ‘Same Skies’. Almost four-minutes of soaring alt-rock that brings to mind bands such as Enter Shikari effortlessly, it’s described by the band as being “dedicated to a late friend with the purpose of showing empathy and compassion towards people with addictions. The song was born out of Joe’s experiences but was a collaborative effort during the recording process with each person contributing ideas.” It’s an emotive topic for sure, but here InAir succeed in exploring it with a sense of both compassion and understanding.
