WE REVIEW NEW INDIE ROCK SONG BY CONCRETE CLUB

Concrete Club delivers a little slice of excellence with new track, ‘I Believe I Said Wednesday (Pamela)’. An indie rock track with real emotion and genuine musical integrity.

Firstly, what an unreal vocal tone, and that hook to kick things off. Pure Magic! From the first note, this track grabs your attention with its honest, gritty guitar tone paired with lyrics and a melody that feel genuinely real. There’s a rawness here that’s refreshing and undeniably captivating.

The atmospheric backing, whether it’s a moody ‘ooo’ or ‘wah’ from the guitar (i’m not entirely sure)  but it’s subtle yet impactful. It adds a layer of depth that hooked me in more each time i heard it.

Each element feels deliberate, every instrument pulling its weight, contributing to a sound that’s polished yet full of authenticity. It’s got shades of Kings of Leon and Keane, but at the same time, it’s pure Concrete Club. This is a track that will be going straight into those playlists!

The final 15 seconds, most tracks might have overstayed their welcome, but not this one. Instead, those moments linger, leaving you to piece together what Wednesday really meant. It’s rare for a song to stick with you like that, but this one does, leaving a lasting impression that resonates well after it ends.

I can’t wait to see what’s next to come from the band. They claim not to be builders but with a tip of the hat already from the likes of Ian Brown and Liam Gallagher, they are definitely building something.
