PYNCHER - GET ALONG

WE REVIEW PYNCHER’S CHAOTIC NEW SINGLE ‘GET ALONG’

A unique taste but I think I like it?

The post punk ‘mancs’ grab your attention and don’t let go with their latest track, “Get Along.” With a modern twist and a nod to the likes of Joy Division, the song immediately pulls you in. While it’s undeniably bold and may feel divisive, think marmite, but if it’s your kind of sound, you’re in for something special.

Without a doubt the opening riff is massive. A droning that cuts straight to the core. Pair it with a hip-jerking rhythm and a monotone vocal delivery dripping with authenticity, and you’ve got a track that’s packed with personality. There’s a palpable tension throughout, mirroring the conflict at the desire to “get along”. A fitting reflection of the track’s production. Gritty yet polished in all the right places.

The bridge is a standout moment. In fact the rest feels necessary, the perfect chance to let you process what actually just happened, before eruptly pulling you back in. The guitars, vocal delivery, rhythm section and melodies all work together seamlessly, and by the second listen, it’s even better.

It’s the kind of track you especially can imagine causing mayhem live, a pure chaos of the best kind. Sure, it might not be for everyone, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less niche and more defined as a unique piece of art with a vintage edge.

Pyncher makes a statement with Get Along that they’re an outfit with purpose, ready to make waves. It’s a banger, no question, and one you absolutely need to catch live!
