JANE N THE JUNGLE

WE REVIEW THE NEW E.P FROM JANE N THE JUNGLE – LIFE OF THE PARTY

In the fiery crucible of Phoenix, Arizona emerges Jane N’ The Jungle, a band whose sound is as wild and untamed as the desert from whence they hail. Their latest EP, “Life of the Party,” is a raucous ride through the gritty realms of rock and grunge, guided by the powerhouse vocals of lead singer Jordan White.

Kicking off with “Dirty Dog,” the EP wastes no time in grabbing you by the collar and dragging you into Jane N’ The Jungle’s jungle. The vocals snarl and soar over crunchy guitar riffs and thunderous drums, setting the tone for what’s to come.

“Metal Ghost” haunts with its haunting melodies and atmospheric instrumentation, while “Wasteland” channels the raw energy of ’90s grunge, transporting listeners to a place where despair meets catharsis.

“Cut Me Open” slices through the noise with its razor-sharp hooks and infectious chorus, while “Bed of Roses” offers a brief respite, a moment of introspection amidst the chaos.

But it’s the title track, “Life of the Party,” that truly steals the show. A blistering anthem that tackles the darker side of addiction, it’s a reminder that sometimes the life of the party can be a lonely place. White’s vocals soar with a haunting intensity, backed by a wall of sound that threatens to engulf everything in its path.

Produced by Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound Studios, “Life of the Party” is a testament to Jane N’ The Jungle’s evolution since their “Ocean Creatures” EP. The production is slick and polished, allowing the band’s raw energy to shine through without sacrificing any of its intensity.

Overall, “Life of the Party”shows progress for Jane N’ The Jungle. So grab a drink, turn up the volume, and join the party – Jane N’ The Jungle are ready to move to another level now.
