Massachusetts solo-artist Ava Valianti has released her newest indie-acoustic song Laugh Track, it’s catchy, it’s smooth, it’s beautifully written. If you aren’t familiar with Ava, get to know her, she’s a rising star bringing a warm element to the music industry.
Being only 15-years-old, Ava is ahead of her time. She provides a sense of comfort in her songs, it’s as if her songs are written so beautifully they could make a baby fall asleep in no time. Her voice is so effortlessly elegant, seeing her live must be an absolute pleasure.
To me, Laugh Track feels as though it was written in a coffee shop, when I heard this track I could just imagine a busy cafe or a vintage tea room, it just gives those vibes for somewhere people chill out and go for a quiet drink. Ava has produced this song, her talent really sparkles through as well as her undoubted confidence. The song is like a mix of Sabrina Carpenter vocals with a Taylor Swift instrumental, you can really hear the influences that help Ava with creating her own exquisite songs.
As lovely as the instrumental and acoustic guitar is, the lyrics are quite deep with lines such as “we’re all laughing, is it at me or with me” and “nothing’s that funny”, this echoes the song being about how you can appear to be happy and joyous (the instrumental) but deep down (the lyrics) you are just an anxious mess. I love the way Ava has portrayed this through her music!
