CORVUS & THE MORNING STAR

WE REVIEW THE NEW SINGLE FROM CORVUS & THE MORNING STAR – YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE

Corvus & The Morning Star turn up their amps to 11 with an onslaught of healthy rock and roll on the new single, You’re The Only One.

The Manchester five-piece kicks things off with some bluesy guitars with a lead gliding over dragging chords. The vocals wail with emotions of bluesy Americana of time gone by.

The overall verse and chorus have dashings of a Jack White number with guitar tones of a more progressive variety.

You’re The Only One praises all things rock and roll with room to let instrumentation breathe and delve into new genre depths.

Whilst the bridge displays vigorous drum fills and dancing piano chords, the guitars lead with a psychedelic solo and descended into musical chaos as the second guitar rains out tone effects of classic psychedelic proportion.

Corvus & The Morning Star have managed to produce a track that compliments that classic emotion of blues rock with the steady progression of Americana stylings and tops it off with more creative and sonically enticing displays of energy.

The whole song breathes positive musical energy from the warm guitar tones to the equally emphatic vocal stylings. Like a classic Led Zep moment in the early 70s, Corvus demonstrates music being captured to great potential.
