DANTE JIT

WE REVIEW THE NEW SINGLE FROM DANTE JIT – 170

Dante Jit didn’t wait on a co-sign or to check the weather before stepping outside with his latest offering. His cut “170” pushes forward like a bodyguard through a crowd – locked in and threading through the noise. Built off a sweet, watery, and altogether eerie melody that glimmers as if it’s chiming from a crystal-built vibraphone, the track sets an imposing mood from the jump. Producers Bito808 and Arron3x structured the beat with thick, subby kicks that shift pitch, playing bassline and percussion in the same breath. By the same token, very snare slap snaps like a steel trap locking shut.

The UK-based emcee switches between English and Italian without fumbling the flow. His focus stays razor-sharp: money, movement, loyalty – all the usual suspects. “Senza soldi negro non posso pagare” (“Without the money, nxgga I can’t pay) —if the money’s not right ,there’s nothing else to consider. His delivery remains stone-set as though he’s rhyming through a clenched jaw. And lines like “Sta donna voglie un anello ti giuro che non glielo metto” (“This woman wants a ring I swear I won’t put it on her”) make it crystal clear that Jit has little to no room for distractions. The daily grind is too steady.

Voicemail snippets weave through the track. We hear a soft concerned voice checking in on our boy, but Dante’s already out in the streets scrambling. The beat and the rhymes stomp forward with heavy thumps – every element pressing forward, no brakes until the money’s straight.
