WE REVIEW THE NEW SINGLE FROM HARRIET ROSE – GOOD TIME HONEY

Oozing with quality, with her sultry tone and catchy bridges, Harriet Rose is paving the way for upcoming Indie-Americana. Her new single “Good Time Honey” is a masterful record that really elevates her already respectable repertoire and makes for a gorgeous listen.

As she has been gigging since 12, her undeniably hard-working mentality has paid off and produced a smooth and languid sound that carries throughout the new single. While starting off sticking with her usual acoustic notes, then leading into a heavier and more energetic beat that builds into the song. The real sense of hope, and general uplifting attitude in the song – while still carrying heavier themes- is extremely well balanced. It makes for effortless and for her audience, relatable, listening, and it immediately sticks in your head.

As of recently, she has been highly in demand by fans and in the studio recording with Ed Cosens (of Reverend And The Makers), as well as recently supporting Peter Doherty (of The Libertines), Andrew Cushin, Jon McClure, The Lottery Winners and The Sherlocks.

Booked and busy, and still punching through creatively, we can feel her own powerhouse vocals being supported by these hugely successful influences, and while it’s impossible to ignore her natural talent, we can absolutely not overlook her relentless drive and passion for making music. As both a recording and live artist, she truly puts her whole self out of the line and has a rare ability to really entrap audiences.

With upcoming gigs in Sheffield and upcoming dates in April, she’s definitely one to watch in 2024, after signing off a huge year of growth for Harriet Rose.
