WE REVIEW THE NEW SINGLE FROM JACK BEECH

Music producer and composer Jack Beech invites us on a serene musical journey with the beautiful “Watching The Sky”. The talented artist draws on his expertise in creating intricate atmospheric music with the release of this new ambient track.

“Watching The Sky” marks Jack Beech’s long-awaited return since the release of his debut EP ‘Noctilucent‘ in 2021. For this new piece of music, he collaborates with violinist Anna Phoebe on a track inspired by James Turrell’s installations. The idea was to instill a sense of reflection and weightlessness in listeners as we drift through layers of sounds – and it works!

From the first notes, “Watching the Sky” offers a peaceful soundscape, perfect for moments of introspection and relaxation. Indeed, the combination of Anna’s violin and Jack’s production skills set the ground for a timeless moment. I felt like I was in another world for the whole 3 minutes of the song, like a little break from reality that made me daydream.

Moreover, the song’s artwork enhances this sensation even further with a cinema screen showcasing a breathtaking sunset.

In general, Jack Beech is known for his work on electronic orchestral scores. It includes music for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Apple+’s “Liaison”, which showcases his talent for evoking emotion through sound. Based at Tileyard Studios in London, he employs both analog hardware and specialist musicians to create organic soundscapes like “Watching The Sky”.
