we review the new single from Jacob Reddy – Kings (Reloaded)
Lancashire based singer song-writer Jacob Reddy has this month returned with his latest solo single, ‘Kings (Reloaded)’, a re-worked version of his Summer 2020 lockdown release of the same name.
The original release of ‘Kings’ was during the height of the pandemic in 2020, seeing Jacob Reddy’s plans for promotion and touring canceled, thus meaning that Jacob Reddy’s single was not able to get the release it deserved.
‘Kings (Reloaded)’ allows Jacob Reddy to inject the single with a new lease of life, seeing the track become punchier and more anthemic than ever before. Feeling like an entirely new song, the reworking of ‘Kings’ allows Jacob’s writing to be spotlighted, seeing heart-warming, intimate lyrics become encased by a huge chorus that is destined to become a crowd-pleaser within Jacob Reddy’s live performances.
Live performances are where Jacob Reddy continually excels, his unique, inspiring attitude towards live shows has allowed him to swing from strength to strength.
Recently, Jacob has been on an ‘All 51 cities in 22 days’ busking tour – which saw him gain attention from ITV News, alongside him getting a shoutout from music industry icon Frank Turner who shouted Jacob out at his show to 3500 people.
The re-release of ‘Kings’ proves Jacob’s status as a natural performer, with the world at his feet. His previous singles have received tens of thousands of streams, and with the re-worked version of ‘Kings’ – it only seems fitting to say that Jacob is destined to reach new heights.
