JoeJas is a self-produced rapper and producer from London who has just dropped his latest track Last 108 Ride. If you like any underground rap, JoeJas is certainly the artist for you.
Joe started his career in music in 2014 and has since then has made his own brand and label as well as producing songs for likeminded people. On Spotify, Joe has 600 monthly listens with one of his songs reaching a grand total of 55,783 plays! That’s phenomenal for such a small artist.
Last 108 Ride is mellow. The instrumental is calm and welcoming, with the creative mind of Joe entering via lyrics that transport you into his universe. This track reminds me of something Tyler the Creator would make with how the lyrics are and how the beat is consistent. JoeJas clearly has excellent experience in mixing and producing as this track fits his aesthetic perfectly!
The lyrics seem to be talking about Joe’s personal life with lines such as ‘cruising down the hill with my thoughts in the back seat’. The 2 minute 30 second song is easy to follow and highlights important aspects about life, whether it be highlighting feelings or how you can sometimes take life for granted – JoeJas has not missed anything with this track regarding how precious life is.
JoeJas is on all streaming platforms with music videos (which he has made himself) so check out this cool, small, and underground artist now before it’s too late!
